In the early 1960’s I started out at age ten using an old-fashioned treadle sewing machine making doll clothes, then at age twelve I was laying out patterns and making my own clothes thanks to my mom and Aunt Norma! It was a glorious time for fashion, and I had a lot of fun wearing my creations in bold colors and prints!
Fast forward …. I have been designing and creating one of a kind lamp shades, pillow covers and other items for my customers since retirement six years ago. My grandmother used to say the inside of anything you sew or create should look as good as the outside, and that has always been my mantra for anything I make!
